You cannot watch whilst we are destroying our planet? Are you passionate about Asia? Do you like to spread and share your knowledge? You have an interest in mammals, forests or nature in general? Or maybe you love the Philippines? Then you have what we all have in common in Kahibalo Foundation! 😊
Are you thinking of becoming a volunteer or doing an internship with us? There are many ways in which you can help us – it can be education, fundraising, research, administration, social media… Think about what you will be best at and contact us – together we will find the best option. We know that your time is one of the most valuable things you can give us – we will try to make the best out of it!
What’s in there for you?
Volunteering is an amazing adventure in itself! Working with us, you will surely learn a lot about why preserving biodiversity is so important, which connects the distant Philippines with the quality of life in other regions of the world. You will get to know the Filipino nature and gain experience that may be useful in your life – let it be professional or private. You will practice the language, develop your strengths, learn to overcome difficulties. You will meet people from all over the world, and some friendships will stay with you for life. Maybe you will discover something about yourself that you had no idea about, and you will certainly help us “save the world” – even if it’s just a smal piece of it! We are waiting for you!
What is it like to work at Kahibalo Foundation?
Are you curious about our daily work? What will your volunteering at Kahibalo Foundation look like? Surprisingly, a large part of our tasks are administrative, and people dealing with social media and website spend their time mainly in front of their computers. However, on the island of Bohol, it is where magic happens, i.e., transferring knowledge about the beautiful Philippine nature! Each of these steps brings us closer to our goal of preserving biodiversity in the Visayas!
